Our Beach Vacation

Back in September we went to Corolla NC for our beach vacation.  We were there for a week, along with some of our friends, it was sooo much fun.

While we were there we got so many pictures of the fun times that we had.  So I am going to try to put the best ones all together in one post to describe our week at the beach (this will be hard!). :)

We had lots of fun at the pool and I believe that we swam almost every day.

Fayth doesn't really like to take baths at all and so we were wondering how she would like the pool.  She didn't like it the first day but for the rest of the week she loved it.  I guess she just had to get used to it.

We also spent lots of time out on the beach...

This year Hannah loved the ocean, unlike last year.  Her favorite part was playing in the waves.

Another fun thing that we did is we walked down to the drive on part of the beach in Corolla and we got to see some wild horses!

When we got to the fence we had to wait for everyone to catch up and then we all went up closer to the horses.

It was pretty amazing and scary at the same time being so close to a wild animal...

... I don't think that the little kids were scared at all though.

When they started to walk towards us we decided to leave.  :)

Elijah had lots of fun too at the beach in the sand.  He didn't like the ocean very much or the pool actually.

Fayth just had fun watching everybody.  :)

So cute!!!

Look at those toes!!!

We also went to a big sand dune in Kitty Hawk called Jockeys ridge.  Our family, the family that came with us and another family that was there too that we knew, all went together to see the dunes.
This picture doesn't do justice to how big the sand dune is.  I guess that's because you can't see the whole thing in the picture!  I love that when you get to the top you can see both the sound and the ocean on either side.

That's the ocean in the background in this picture

Elijah loved being able to run and climb and run, he had lots of fun.

We also got to see the sun set while we were there, it was so pretty.

Elijah and Fayth having fun together.  Elijah loves his little sister.
Fayth loves her walker.
Isn't she cute!!

Hannah even got to practice feeding a baby!  She loved that.

Also here are a few pictures of the sun rising.  I didn't get to see this in person but it sure is beautiful!

So that was the overview of our week at the beach.  Hope you enjoyed.

On another day while we were at the beach I got my sisters dressed up and we did some more pictures of just us girls.

I think this my most favorite picture from the whole week.

Hope you enjoyed!

Fayth is 5 months!

Another month has gone by and Fayth is now 5 months old!  This month Fayth has mastered rolling over and she is doing it all of the time.  She is also getting so much balance that she is trying to sit up.  Fayth keeps the joy in our house every day and we are sooo thankful that the Lord has given our family another little girl, he is so gracious!

This month we also transferred Elijah to his big boy bed in the boys room and then I decorated Fayth's part of the girls room.  I think it turned out sooo cute and now it is my favorite part of the room.

Here is the wall above her crib.

Since she started sleeping in her crib this month, I took some pictures of her enjoying it!

She really looks like a big girl in this picture but don't worry I am just holding her up.   Thankfully she isn't actually doing that by herself. :)

Also, this month Fayth got a walker and she has been loving it, and I think it is her favorite thing to play with right now.

She has also enjoyed her Johnny Jump-up this month as well.

So here is her growth so far...

1 month                                 2 months

 3 months                                4 months

and 5 months

I was kind of late on this months post.  Actually 3 weeks late to be exact, and Fayth is turning 6 months old in just 1 more week!

Heather
