Fayth is 7 months!

Fayth is getting so big!  This month she started eating baby food and so far she has had rice cereal, avocado, sweet potatoes, bananas and apple sauce.  Her least favorite food so far is avocado's and her most favorite is apple sauce (she goes crazy over it!).  Also she is getting much better at sitting up and whenever she is down playing on the floor she has recently been getting up on all fours and if she really wants something she will scoot across the floor to get it.  Every time she does that she looks like she is just going to start crawling across the floor but she hasn't yet.

 I must say she is getting to look so big!

 I usually do all of her pictures outside on the front porch where there is better lighting but this time I had to do her pictures indoors since it was so cold outside, I can't believe how fast the year is going by!

Kings Dominion 2013

Around 1 month ago we went to Kings Dominion.  Every year Dad's work gives the whole company a free day there.  It was so much fun.  

I always have to throw in a picture of Fayth you know, I just can't help it!

The first ride we went to was the Dominator.  Hayden, Bradley, Carter and I all rode it together.  We are on the second row in in the picture above and the picture below.  

We had a blast riding the bigger roller coasters and it was nice to finally have 4 people to do it.

After that Hayden, Bradley, Carter and I went to ride some more big rides while everyone else went to ride the rides in the kids section.

Elijah had lots of fun on the airplanes. 

As well as the cars.  He felt like such a big boy driving those around. :)

Hannah had lots of fun too.  She surprised me at some of the things that she rode.

 More cars...

  ....they really enjoyed those.

 They also rode in a cute little train, which wasn't there in years past.

Fayth just stayed with dad and watched everybody, dad doesn't like to ride the rides very much, and well, Fayth can't right now so they were the perfect fit to stay together.

 But out of all the rides they rode, their favorite was the bumper cars.  They rode it at least ten times or more.

Fayth was also just getting a tooth.  You can barely see it coming through though.  They are both up now, and so cute, I think she is even cuter with teeth.

And at the end of the day we got a group photo of us with some of our friends.  Their dad works for the same company and so they also got to have the free day at Kings Dominion with us.  

That concludes our day at Kings Dominion.  Even with the day ending sooner than normal due to the ran, we still had a day filled with tons of fun!

Fayth is 6 months!

Fayth is now 6 months old, 1/2 a year!  This month she had so many very exciting milestones.  She cut 2 teeth which was probably the biggest one!  She can almost sit up by herself, right now she has to have the boppy around her though.  Then she also went on her 1st vacation to the beach (which I have already posted about).  So here are her 6 month pictures:

Our Beach Vacation

Back in September we went to Corolla NC for our beach vacation.  We were there for a week, along with some of our friends, it was sooo much fun.

While we were there we got so many pictures of the fun times that we had.  So I am going to try to put the best ones all together in one post to describe our week at the beach (this will be hard!). :)

We had lots of fun at the pool and I believe that we swam almost every day.

Fayth doesn't really like to take baths at all and so we were wondering how she would like the pool.  She didn't like it the first day but for the rest of the week she loved it.  I guess she just had to get used to it. 

We also spent lots of time out on the beach...

This year Hannah loved the ocean, unlike last year.  Her favorite part was playing in the waves.

Another fun thing that we did is we walked down to the drive on part of the beach in Corolla and we got to see some wild horses!

When we got to the fence we had to wait for everyone to catch up and then we all went up closer to the horses.

It was pretty amazing and scary at the same time being so close to a wild animal...

... I don't think that the little kids were scared at all though.

When they started to walk towards us we decided to leave.  :)

Elijah had lots of fun too at the beach in the sand.  He didn't like the ocean very much or the pool actually.

Fayth just had fun watching everybody.  :)

We also went to a big sand dune in Kitty Hawk called Jockeys ridge.  Our family, the family that came with us and another family that was there too that we knew, all went together to see the dunes.

This picture doesn't do justice to how big the sand dune is.  I guess that's because you can't see the whole thing in the picture!  I love that when you get to the top you can see both the sound and the ocean on either side.

 Elijah loved being able to run and climb and run, he had lots of fun.

 We also got to see the sun set while we were there, it was so pretty.

Hannah even got to practice feeding a baby!  She loved that.

Also here are a few pictures of the sun rising.  I didn't get to see this in person but it sure is beautiful!
