Fayth is 9 months!!!

Fayth's 9 month pictures!  She actually already 10 months old but I have just gotten around to posting about 9 months.  I can't believe how fast she is growing up.   Fayth cut three more teeth and now has a total of seven.  She has started eating finger food of all sorts and simply loves to eat, which explains why she is growing so much.  She can pull up on anything and at times she looks like she is going to just take off across the room (but she is not allowed to do that yet :), she is a very mobile baby these days.

Fayth also had her 1st Christmas.  I think her favorite part was finding all the paper on the floor and trying to eat it.

Here are her 9 months pictures.  She was actually able to sit in a chair all on her own!

1 month                                2 months
 3 months                              4 months
5 months                                  6 months
7 months                                8 months

9 months
Fayth has decided that she doesn't like laying down anymore so she has now moved up to standing with her stroller. :)

Christmas 2013

Wow it is already Feb. 2014!  Life has been very busy in our house and so I have just finally gotten around to posting about Christmas and have many other posts to come, hopefully soon.

This was little Fayth's 1st Christmas so I am sure you will see tons of pictures of her (as usual :).

For Christmas eve we had dinner with our grandparents (moms side).  It was so fun to get to visit with them especially since they live so far away now.

After dinner all of us kids opened up our gifts from each other.
Carter got Bradley a new camo hat.  He rapped it in a box and then another box and another box...   ...until he finally got to a pretty big sized box.  It really fooled Bradley and it was funny to watch him open each one only to find another box inside. :)
Elijah got some toy cars from Hayden

And no Hayden didn't get Cheerios, Elijah was just really creative in his rapping. :)
Carter got a camo flashlight, which he has already gotten lots of use out of.
Hannah got a play dough set from "Fayth".
I made Fayth several things but my favorite is her sock monkey hat, but I think her favorite gift was all tissue paper!

Christmas Day:

For unto us a child is born unto us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Isaiah 9:6

Fayth opened her stocking to find a really yummy treat inside!   We split it for her. :)

Opening Presents:

Hannah got a violin which I am working on teaching her and myself.

Carter got a real bow and arrow!  He is really enjoying it.

Bradley's main gift was a laptop.

Elijah got lots of fun tools.  He had been saying for months that he wanted a chain saw so he could cut trees down like daddy and was really excited when he saw one. :)
Fayth got her 1st baby doll, and she loves it.

I got a DSLR camera which I am so grateful for.  I couldn't believe it though.

And Hayden got a big tool set to start his collection.

After opening all of our gifts our grandparents came over and we all had breakfast together.  It was delicious!  Then after breakfast we opened the gifts from our grandparents and gave them theirs.

I was also able to do a little photo shoot of Fayth using the new camera that I got!
She eventually crawled away though and continued her hunt for paper. :)

After our grandparents left everyone had some time to play and then clean up before we left for dinner with Dad's side of the family.
Carter and Elijah tried out their new nerf guns.

Bradley trying out his new laptop; he has recently taken an interest in computer coding and is learning so much.

That evening we went to our grandparents house (dad's side) to have Christmas dinner and fellowship with them.

Reading stories with Mamaw (dad's mom).  Elijah and Hannah enjoy that so much.

Opening presents again:
Bradley got a funny book, but he enjoyed it a lot. :)

Carter with his yearly Halmark ornament.  We each get one every year and so now we can decorate our whole Christmas tree solely with Halmark ornaments.

I love these scarfs; so cute...

...and Fayth has one too. :)

This was a really creative and cute gift.  My cousin made them for Mamaw by taking recipe cards and getting them printed on fabric.

Fayth with her 1st Halmark ornament.  She got tired of opening gifts. :)

After opening gifts some car races took place...

...and everyone looked at the year books that were made for 2013.
