Playdate

The other day my cousin came over with her daughter Mady. Elijah really enjoyed seeing someone his own size.

"So cute"
I love the look on their faces in the picture above.

Surprisingly, they are both the same size even though Mady is 2 months older than Eli.

There's a smile.

Mady is a little bite more skilled with lifting her head up though. She's a pro.

They are so precious.

Hannah's 3rd Birthday

On Hannah's 3rd birthday we went to our friends the Bass's house.

Hannah was acting a little shy and so she didn't want to blow her candles out so some of the little boys helped her. :)
She loved the brownies though. After brownies she opened up her present from the Bass's, they got her a cute little purse and a tiara making kit.
When we got home that night she wanted to making herself a tiara and so she did.
Eventually she figured out how to put them on by herself. She is such a big girl.
There she is with her tiara and she even made one for her baby.
The next day we had a family party and Bradley, Carter and I made her a scavenger hunt. The first thing that she found on the scavenger hunt was a puppy dog from Carter.

Off to the next place.

Then she found a lolly pop from me.

Then Hannah found the big present.

Hannah got some activities from Mom and Dad. She also got a ball from Bradley.

Father Daughter Retreat 2011

My dad and I (Heather) went to the vision forum father daughter retreat a couple weeks ago at Callaway Gardens in Georgia.

The first evening that we got there it was very hot outside. I wasn't expecting it to be so hot because it was still cold in Virginia.

There was about 420 people there and we all had a big picnic. We also played games and did a singing contest, it was a lot of fun.

The next day we went to a couple of sermons and then we were on our own to explore the gardens. It was pretty rainy so me and my dad decided to go to the butterfly garden.

Right before you inter the big glass house that the butterflies stay in there is some windows were you can see the butterflies hatching.

"Me and my dad"

The butterfly garden was filled with beautiful plant's and most of all beautiful butterfly's it was a lot of fun.

I really hope that I can go back to the Father Daughter Retreat in the years to come, and hopefully Hannah will get to come to.

To God be the glory,

Heather
