Elijah turned ONE!
I can't believe he has been with us for a year; it has gone by so fast.
The presents on the table made Elijah laugh, ...
... and opening them was even better.
In the first bag Elijah got some new pajamas.
In the second bag he got a dump truck.
Carter gave Elijah some foam balls, and I think that was Elijah's favorite out of them all.
After opening presents it was time for some cake.
Also, Bradley drew Elijah a birthday poster.
Elijah wasn't so sure about blowing out his candle so we helped a little.
"Digging in"
Yummy
After Elijah had his birthday cupcake we went to Mexico restaurant for lunch. Our waiter was a guy that we had met at the hospital when Elijah was born. His wife had just given birth a few weeks before but there baby was born early so he had been staying in the NICU. Anyways long story short he gave Elijah a free sundae and the waiters sung Happy Birthday to him.
During the song he was trying to grab a piece, ...
and it was so good!
That night our grandparents (Grandpa and Grandma Bradley) came over.
They gave Elijah a ball machine; you put the balls in the holes on the top and whack them into the hole. I didn't think Elijah would know how to do it, but he learned how to wrack the balls down before the night was over.
As you can see he had a blast!
Elijah's a BIG BOY now. :( :)
To God be the Glory,
Heather
